New York Fashion Week is really my favorite time of the year. The beautiful (and hideous) outfits are such an amazing sight and for once I find myself looking around on the street rather than down at my iPhone. On the one hand, the beautiful styling everywhere gave me inspiration to pull out my PJ pants again and pair them with a bright yellow top and statement necklace. On the other hand, I feel like people think that since it’s Fashion Week, they can get away with wearing anything. And they’re right, a little visit to Lincoln Center and you’ll see all the photogs snapping away at the most bizarre of outfits. Nevertheless, I love seeing what new trends ultimately get pulled off.
I had a little fun with a friend shooting today, inspired by all the “jumping” photos in Vogue. Surprisingly, I think the iPhone did a pretty good job. What do you think?
